Objective
Introduction

The benefits of emotional intelligence or what is commonly known as EQ are universal.  However, for those who have chosen sales and marketing as their career, EQ has even greater relevance.

Much research and studies have been done to prove that those who engage EQ competencies perform better earn more and are generally better at their jobs.  The relationships they build with customers are also longer lasting.  

Emotions drive our actions everyday.  The key difference between one who engages EQ and the others who do not lies in the ability to manage emotions and use the vast information they contain to help us in our thinking processes.  The desired outcomes include a more confident disposition, clearer thinking processes and more productive as well as happier relationships with others.

EQ consists of a set of life skills that are learnable and actionable.  This course will focus on the key competencies that are applicable for the demands of sales and marketing professionals.  

This includes recognizing emotional patterns, understanding and using choices in emotions, developing optimism and building empathy to connect to customers.

Mr.Bernard Law
Mr.Bernard Law, is a certified 6 Seconds Emotional Intelligence (SEI) Trainer/ Coach
Bernard is a certified 6 Seconds Emotional Intelligence (SEI) Trainer/ Coach. He has more than 20 years of senior corporate .Experience in both private and public organizations in various sectors. His industry/ experience include:
-  Publishing and Broadcast Media
-  Industrial Development
-  Clubhouse Management
-  Event & Project Management

He was active in senior management work at both operational and strategic levels in these organizations of varying sizes. His involvement was in multi-functional roles such as General Management, Sales & Marketing, HR, Finance & Administration as well as Editorial and Design.
He has extensive experience in liaison with external commercial as well public instritutions.
His work over the years involved travels to work in China, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea and New York among others. His involvement in professional and civic organizations included: (a)Advertising Media Owners Association of Singapore (AMOS) – held appointments as   Secretary, Treasurer and Education Sub-Committee Chairman.
(b) Committee Member of Digital Audio Broadcasting Forum, Singapore
(c) Public Education Committee on Family, MCYS.
He has also spoken on Emotions intelligence locally overseas as well as on Media Relations to the Government Public Affairs Officers Network.
Bernard is proficient in English, Chinese and in spoken Malay.
